Currently based in Wellington, New Zealand and available to travel right throughout the North Island.
Rebecca Connor has been working as a freelance professional makeup artist since 2005. During this time, she has worked extensively throughout New Zealand and Sydney, Australia. Her work has been seen on many faces, including many many beautiful blushing brides and in magazines such as Bride and Groom, Lucire, and Next Magazine. Her work has featured on all of the Bridal sites below: Style Me Pretty, Truly and Madly, Paper and Lace and also Magnolia Rouge. Working on fashion shows for NZ designers, such as Zambezi, Nom-D Annah Stretton and Andrea Moore and videos for New Zealand Women's fashion house Glassons.
However, a real passion of Rebecca’s is working with real women who might need a little something to accentuate the beauty they already possess. With a fresh perspective and a new splash of colour, Rebecca loves to help put extra sparkle in a woman’s smile and a new bounce in their step.
Rebecca’s training started at Samala Robinson Academy in 2004. She then went to freelance throughout New Zealand and in early 2010, enhanced her hair styling skills with an intensive course in Auckland. She is constantly updating her skill set and always on the hunt for the best and newest products.
Beyond her expert makeup skills, her specialties and attributes that set her above the rest are in her people skills, her down to earth friendly manner and her ability to be able to make woman of all ages and stages feel comfortable, beautiful and confident. Her passion is in the everyday woman, bridal- balls-lessons-portrait shoots. She has a unique skill set and absolutely loves what she does.
